The Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice tells the tale of two lovers who battle against the odds to return to each other. After Eurydice’s death, Orpheus travels to the underworld to try to bring her back to the land of the living. For this project, I chose to set this story in a western setting as the core struggle of man against overwhelming odds fit well within the genre. Orpheus wears this costume through most of the proposed TV series which gave me a great opportunity to play with costume breakdown as his journey from musician to lone ranger plays out.

Working with leather was also a huge part of this project and allowed me to develop skills with a very different material.
